I have no idea about the provenance of this photo — it purports to be a soldier getting an enthusiastic welcome home from his boyfriend — but even if it’s an excerpt from a Falcon Video, I think its message says a lot. And with the repeal of DADT, it’s something I think most Americans should get used to.
Wow is all I can say! This picture brought a tear to my eye when I first saw it. It is real and it has gone viral with serveral major news sources picking it for a story. I never thought I’d see the day when a gay Marine could openly engage in a public display of affection with his partner. My gratitude to all LGBT activists, organizations like HRC, politicians, and evolved military personnel that made this possible. Love it!
