Dallas’ funkiest queen, Erykah Badu, has been a badass fashionista, ally and devoted hometown girl for decades, performing at all sorts of venues, from Deep Ellum clubs to event spaces to arenas. But the Grammy winner’s eclectic style now arrives at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Badu will join her local symphony, the DSO, for a one-night-only concert on June 21. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning, here.

“Badu’s roots are in South Oak Cliff, and the DSO is committed to launching an important music program for students in Southern Dallas,” says Kim Noltemy, President & CEO of the Dallas Symphony Association. “Beginning this summer, we will provide free access to music lessons and instruments to hundreds of children. Badu is emblematic of the power of music education in childhood and the paths it can create.”
