You are correct, she really doesn’t have a musical background. She was quoted as saying that she would be the judge that represents “everyday” people, or something along those lines. She also said she wouldn’t leave her talk show so she’s going to be BUSY!
Oh come on, Rich! What does a “musical background” really have to do with judging “American Idol” anyway?! At least Ellen will be entertaining to watch. I might actually watch the show with her on it.
This is true. And interestingly enough, you’re the third person to tell me you’d watch it now that she’s on. I’m even considering the same thing. OK, not really, but I might be compelled to watch a little longer while flipping channels to hear her comments.
