Early voting in municipal elections begins today (Tuesday, April 22) and runs for one week until Tuesday, April 29.

Residents of the city of Dallas will be voting for city council members.

In Dallas County, voters may vote at any polling location within the county.

Voting hours in Dallas County on Tuesday through Friday, April 22-25, are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday April 26, polls are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday April 27, hours are noon-6 p.m. And Monday and Tuesday April 28-29, polls will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

The Oak Lawn Branch Library on Cedar Springs Road is again open for early voting. That location is usually the busiest voting location in Dallas County.

Election Day is Saturday, May 3. Polls will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Dallas County voters may vote in any polling place in Dallas County.
