How is Principal Dinnah Escanilla able to rule against the voting wishes of her students of North Dallas High School fror homecoming queen? Is she of the habit of overriding other votes, then not disclosing the outcome? We are voting on November 2 for many public offices. How woul Dinnah Escanilla like it if her vote on November 2 did not count and was overridden? On what authority or what book does she base her reasoning on? Last I checked, the Bible has no authority at North Dallas High School. I have a song/video on Youtube.com. The song/video is under my name and is titled “Messiah loves homosexuals”. It is a Texas tune familiar to the people of Dallas. I would like to come to Texas and publicly debate anyone concerning the accuracy of my song/video as it relates to history and gay rights.

I’ve seen many times that the T is sadly lacking from LGBT.
Ryan Buell (Founder of PRS and Lead guy on Paranormal State) just came out via his new book (Paranormal State – My Journey into the Unknown) and on Facebook as Bi-Sexual… .
I mention this because on page 192 of his book I noticed via his quote “I’m tired of gays, lesbians, and bisexuals being told that they’re going to hell and that God hates them for who they are.” The Transgendered were not mentioned.
I know this is an educational aspect more that a deliberate exclusion, but I can see the Transgendered as being some of the most in need youth. It’s even an attitudinal problem within the gay community at times.
F/y/i, if ya haven’t got his book, I know that Borders in Uptown has it stocked on the 2nd Floor – I went right to Chapter 12.

I agree with the previous comments in that this does send a peculiar message about American Democracy to the rest of the world. The worry for me is that this is a bad example set by a SCHOOL administration . Where is all the famous American Freedom of the individual , Freedom of expression , of and from religion etc ? This action by the School administration is very Un-American in my view.
This may be old news by now but can anyone tell me what the outcome was of the protest, Homecoming election and all !! ?

For those Facebookers it would be worth your while to visit Anne Rice’s page https://www.facebook.com/annericefanpage She’s an Amazing human being.
