Ok, so I am a big fan of drag, so when my coworker Chad Mantooth shared this with me, I knew I had to share it with all of you:
Yesterday (Thursday, May 31), just in time for Pride Month, Netflix released a teaser trailer for a new animated series, Super Drags, which “follows three department store workers who have to deal with their uptight boss by day, but by night they transform into superhero drag queens, ‘ready to combat shade and rescue the world’s glitter from the evil villains,'” NewNowNext is reporting.
According to Chris Sanagustin, Netflix’s director of original international content, Super Drags! comes from Brazil.
There’s not much more info out there, yet, but I will be waiting and watching. I mean, drag queen super heroes? What’s not to love?!
