In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in L.W. v. Skrmetti, issued earlier this week, the Southwestern Regional Office of Lambda Legal, in partnership with Cathedral of Hope UCC and Resource Center, is hosting an event Saturday, June 21, to provide transgender people and their allies a place to gather together, to get the most recent information on the ruling and what it means and to find resources for moving forward.
“Proud & Free: United for Trans Power” will be held at 11:30 at the Cathedral of Hope Peace Chapel, 5910 Cedar Springs Road.
