Poor planning and communication of the event is the main reason for its postponement; the rumor is that the ticket sales for the event were dismal; the ticket prices were too high, and there was no true “vision” or “strategy” of what the event format should look like. I don’t anticipate this event will actually take place anytime soon. The DIFFA brand is being quickly eroded by poor leadership.
I concur with David’s comment above. The new format for the DIFFA gala appeared to be a hot mess.
