Denton Police Officer Todd Kidwell (pictured above) has been arrested after allegedly punching his boyfriend in the face, The Denton Record-Chronicle reports here. The 39-year-old Kidwell, a 19-year veteran of the Denton Police Department, is charged with class-A misdemeanor assault following the incident on Saturday near Cross Roads. That’s Cross Roads in Denton County, not the Cedar Springs Crossroads.
“The incident is being investigated,” Denton Police Capt. Lenn Carter told The Record-Chronicle. “What the department is concerned about is if any departmental policies or state law was broken. As far as his personal life is concerned, that is a private matter unless the behavior crosses those two policy or law lines.â€
Wait a second, doesn’t that go without saying?
that’s the crazy eyes of a power bottom scorned!
now which one got punched in the face?
who knew he was into fisting?
Not to laugh at other people’s misery but Kia has given me two big laughs for the day. Thanks!
No prob Rich now you owe 1 tranny 2 big drinks..
Two words come to mind: “Hot Mess”
Ok guys. Officer Kidwell is my Criminalistics professor at NCTC. This guy is a really good guy and an excellent teacher. His father just died last week. No one knows the circumstances on this, so please don’t judge. Like i said above, he is an excellent guy who doesn’t deserve what you are saying about him. Please take in consideration that he is a 19 year veteran of a police department and that you have never met him.
Thank you Cara….no one wants to talk about the good things Officer Kidwell has done. 19 years without a single negative incident …wish we could all say that! Do you know how his father died? Do you know if it was a long painful death that Officer Kidwell had to watch his loved one go through? Or was it something sudden that he didn’t anticipate and was fit with all of a sudden. If you have ever had someone you love lay in your arms, take their last breath, turn blue and die and had no emotional effects from it, you are so cold I don’t care what you think. If you haven’t had the experience of losing someone you love then how can you judge Officer Kidwell so quickly. Officer Kidwell is a good man. And I don’t know any of us who don’t have a fault somewhere….
Sue: I believe his father was dying of cancer. It was long and drawn out, and Officer Kidwell did say that it was a blessing for his father to pass because it was so painful for his father to go through.
And Kia, look Sue is right. You just need to get over yourself and open your closed eyes. I have never married, nor have any intention to marry. I am completely self sufficient. And Officer Kidwell is someone I look up to because I plan on being a police officer as well. As Sue said, going 19 years without a single flaw is amazing. You dont even know what he has done for the Denton Police Department, nor for all of the people he has taught and come in to contact to. So you should get to know someone before you judge them.
People don’t take into consideration that cops are people too. They are not perfect. They are under paid / appreciated. I have bad days from time to time, and this nice do anything for you guy might tell you to f**k off! I had a bad day. Sorry, I’m a great person always, but there was that one time. Get to know a cop. They are the same as you and me. I have the unique opportunity to socialize with some of Denton’s finest. I like some more than others, but they are all good, normal people like you and I. I never meet Officer Kidwell, but I’m sure he had an off evening. I’m sure the night didn’t start out with a plan to fight with his significant other. Shit happens! Unless your perfect, hop off your high horse!
