Michael “Patrick” Namie, 54, of Dallas, died Nov. 15 in a Dallas hospital.

He was born March 17, 1952, to the late Joe Roy Sr. and Madeline Cannon Namie. He graduated from Nevill High School in Monroe, Louisiana in 1971, and attended the University of Louisiana in Monroe.

He worked in sales throughout his life and was a faithful member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Bess Namie, both of Tyler; brother, Joe Roy Namie of Memphis, Tenn.; and many cousins. He is also survived by his special friend, Jim Morman of Flower Mound, along with a host of other friends who enjoyed his infectious sense of humor.

Memorial services were held Nov. 19 at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas where his ashes will be niched in the church’s columbarium.

A happy hour party to celebrate Namie’s life will be held on Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Hideaway Club, 4144 Buena Vista. All of Patrick’s friends are invited for food, drinks and fun.
