Lloyd Button, 57, of Irving and Henderson, Nev., formerly of Freehold, N.J., and Middlesex, N.Y., died Feb. 19 in Irving. For the past five years, he worked for Citigroup in Irving as a senior technical analyst and was previously vice president of technology for Merrill Lynch for 16 years in Jersey City.
Button had a passion for life, great respect for law enforcement and was a very warm-hearted, caring person. Lloyd and his friend Jim’s normal Saturday night started at Cyclone Anaya’s, his favorite Mexican restaurant, then went to the Round-Up Saloon to visit with friends and do a little two-stepping. Some evenings would end at the Eagle or TMC.
He was preceded in death by his spouse of 15 years, William J. Gaydos, and his parents Lloyd A. Button and Dorothy Waterman Button. He is survived by sister-in-law Jodie and husband Joseph Sammartino of Queen Creek, Ariz.; sister-in-law Denise and husband David Kelter Sr. of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; special friend Jim McMillan, of Lone Oak, Texas, and several nieces, nephews and cousin.
A memorial service/visitation will be held on Feb. 29 at the Aria Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 N. Beltline Road, Irving, from 1–3 p.m.

Henry Lee Harter, 55, a brother, uncle, son, cousin, nephew and a friend, formerly of Billings, Mo., was found dead in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Sunday, Feb. 12.
He was born Aug. 30, 1956, in Springfield, Mo., to C.J. and Betty Huber Harter.
Harter was a 1974 graduate of Billings High School, and was a self-employed estate consultant. He loved life, traveling and having a good time.
In 1995, Harter moved to Dallas with his best friend, Andy James. He worked at Bill’s Hideaway for nine years and then at Phases Bar. He will be sorely missed by all those he worked with and served.
He was preceded in death by his dad, C.J. (1991), and a niece and a nephew.
He is survived by a loving mother, Betty Harter; four sisters and two brothers, all of Billings, Mo.
