Chris Thein, 66, passed away July 8, 2013, in his Dallas home from natural causes.
He was born Dec. 25, 1946, in Oklahoma City. He attended Moore High School and studied at Texas Christian University.
Chris was prominent in the beauty salon business. He was passionate about service work having volunteered his time at Resource Center Dallas and more recently at Dallas Intergroup Association.
Chris could light up a room just by entering, and he will be missed more than words can adequately describe.
There were smiles and laughter when Chris was around, and he showed all who knew him what happy, joyous and free truly meant.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in Cathedral of Hope’s Interfaith Peace Chapel.
