Speaking of comic books, Dan Paul Roberts alerted me to the fact that his work in progress is now official. “Galactic Tranny” introduces former Dallas drag band, She-Dick, to the comic book universe. Roberts aka Candi Shell both wrote and illustrated the book. Add those jobs to his resume that already includes singer, songwriter, painter and drag queen. Perhaps he just had too much talent for Dallas that only New York could handle it all.
In other She-Dick news, they posted their video for “Under the Knife,” last week. Funny stuff. You might recognize the tune from a certain Disney movie about a mermaid. I remember they said at one of their shows, this was about all the glossy, glitzy Dallas women.

That video was awesome! I remember seeing SHE-DICK at JR’s once. They look a lot better now. Damn! I’m totally gonna check out that comicbook.

loved the music video. and it is going to drive me crazy trying to figure out where the music is from. will be on the look out for the comic. will amazon be carrying it?
