Dallas Voice and Resource Center Dallas are closed, but Instant Tea is wide open for business

Resource Center Dallas will be closed today due to icy conditions, the center announced on Twitter moments ago.
Dallas Voice offices are also currently closed, according to a voicemail I received from acting publisher Leo Cusimano just as I was about to walk out the door. Leo added that some folks may be coming in around 11 a.m. if it’s safe, so if you need something try back a little later.
As for me, I’ve got a story to write, but all my notes are trapped at the office, so I guess we”ll see how many more times I can get away with this excuse.

So I made it into work today at my office near the Galleria. The the main problem were the crazy drivers trying to gun their engines and spin their way across the ice. I gave them a wide berth and just drove slowly around them. You’d figure with a week of this crap already they might have learned something? Nah!
