I don’t know whether they’re smarter than a drag queen — it probably depends which one — but I’m starting to think they’re pretty damn smart!
The Dallas Voice Elizabeth Trail’rs, reigning world champs, again took home the tiara on Sunday during the second installment of “Are You Smarter Than a Drag Queen?” a trivia fundraiser benefiting LifeWalk at the Brick & Joe’s.
The Elizabeth Trail’rs, of which they tell me I’m a member, won $200 that will of course be donated directly to LifeWalk — which is unbelievably only 12 days away.
Elizabeth Trail’rs co-captain Chance Browning, who along with Rich Lopez comprised Sunday’s winning duo, also informs me that we Trail’rs are hosting a happy hour from 5 to 7:30 today at Monica’s Nueva Cocina.
So, when you’re done griping about the unfair fundraising advantage this blog gives us, we hope you’ll join us for a margarita. After all, if you can’t be as smart as a drag queen, you might as well drink like one!
