Stonewall Democrats of Dallas will be set up at Hunky’s, 3930 Cedar Springs Road, during the March Cedar Springs Wine Walk to register voters, and the first 10 qualified volunteers to sign up will receive either a free burger or a free entrée from Hunky’s, compliments of Stonewall Democrats.

Volunteers will stroll The Strip during Wine Walk with a voter registration clipboard and help Dallas County voters check their current voter registration status and help those who have moved recently update their registration. Just bring your full-charged mobile phone, and check Vote.org in advance.

Cedar Springs Wine Walk

The Cedar Springs Merchants Association’s March Wine Walk is from 6-9 p.m. For $10 you get a collectible wine glass and access to more than 25 stops along The Strip where they will be offering free wine samples to participants.

Pick up your glass at the tent in front of Round-Up Saloon, 3912 Cedar Springs Road.

The next election coming up in Dallas County will be the Joint & Special Election on Saturday, May 3, to choose candidates in city council and school board elections. Last day to register to vote in the May 3 election is Thursday, April 2. Early voting starts on April 22, which is also the last day to apply for a mail ballot. Last day of early voting is April 29.

  1. Texas democrats are “electing” an interim state chair to serve out Hinojosa’s term on March 29th. My hope was that a radical would run and win that chairmanship. A stonewaller would have been perfect. The Texas democrat party needs a leader championing sex change for minors, men in women’s restrooms, and “ minor attracted persons.” We Republicans will win for decades.
