This Saturday, the Dallas Diamonds play their final home game of the season against the Kansas City Tribe. It’s an important day for the women’s professional football team. First, they suffered their only loss to the KC Tribe earlier this season so they are looking for some revenge.
But they will also unveil their Ring of Honor at the game. Eligibility for the Ring required nominees to “have been in the Diamonds organization for three seasons in the capacity of player, coach, administrative or medical staff, and retired for two seasons prior to the season of induction.” Secretly, I was hoping this would have been enough for my induction. Hey, one can dream!
The ceremony will include a Ring of Honor banner presentation and plaque and shirt given to the inductees.  But first, check ’em out as they whoop up on the Tribe at  Pennington field, 1501 Central Drive in Bedford. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.сайтреклама гугла
