Today is National HIV Testing Day, and Dallas County has announced some additional locations where free testing will be offered over the next few weeks. These are in addition to those announced for today by area HIV/AIDS agencies.

North Dallas:

Wednesday, June 27 — National HIV Testing Day
Valley View Mall, 13331 Preston Road, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.

South Oak Cliff:

Saturday, June 30
SW Center (Redbird) Mall, 3662 W. Camp Wisdom Road, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

East Dallas/Pleasant Grove:

Saturday, July 7
Garibaldi Bazaar, 9334 R L Thornton Freeway, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Irving:

Saturday, July 14
Sterling Plaza (Aldi parking lot), 2926 N. Beltline Rd, Irving, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.

The rapid testing is free and there are lots of giveaways at each of these events.

Free testing is also offered at the testing and counseling clinic located on the third floor of the Dallas County Health and Human Services building, 2377 North Stemmons Freeway. The clinic is open 8 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Friday.
