In Washington, DC, one high school principal joined his school’s Pride celebration by coming out himself.
“I want to say publicly for the first time because of your leadership, care and support that I am a proud gay man who just happens to be the principal of Wilson High School,” Principal Pete Cahall told the school, according to The Washington Post.
Cahall said he had hidden for 50 years and was inspired by his students to come out.
