Lesbian actress Cynthia Nixon, who won an Emmy playing Miranda on Sex and the City, legally married her longtime girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, in New York over the Memorial Day weekend.
I know for a fact this is not the first wedding Nixon has attended with a gay next to her. Nixon’s ex-partner, Danny Moses, was a good friend of my close friend and college roommate, and Cynthia and I sat next to each other at his wedding back in 1990. She was very nice; I was very closeted.
