Curacao is very gay friendly. I read in the paper last week there are 10,000 to 15,000 gays and lesbians on the island. To be honest, for that little island, that’s way too may gays and lesbians for my taste.
However, what makes the population tolerable is that I have yet to see a gay or lesbian behaving in a forward manner in public. From my experience, those I have encountered, have been very Euro gay–meaning that they are affectionate in private.
