Last month, I wrote a feature about local craft breweries and the restaurants that cater to them, including references to Four Corners Brewing, over near the new Trinity Groves development. Now comes official word that FC is shakin’ its cans … literally. Craft breweries typically are available on tap or in bottles, but FC will start going the canned beer route, starting Friday — they already have a lot of inventory to get the process started, as you can see.
The initial release will be of three canned brews: Local Buzz (a golden ale), El Chingo (an IPA) and Block Party Porter. The canning process will also debut in Texas the 360 End Lid, a removable lid that eliminates the need for glassware.
