So, you may not have heard, but an indie film is getting a slow roll-out this week… oh, but there’s also Star Wars: The Force Awakens, hyperspacing into a galaxy near you. (We have a review in this week’s Hollywood Edition.) To celebrate, the folks at Bacardi created this number just in time for the winter: The Planet Hot Toddy. May the force be with you!
2 oz. Bacardi Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron
3/4 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1/4 oz. marachino liqueur
1 egg white.
Making it: Shake all ingredients together vigorously with plenty of ice. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
