Sunday is National Tequila Day, and in Texas, that’s kinda a big deal. So here’s a recipe that you can whip up to celebrate.
2 oz. Cazadores Tequila
1 oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. agave nectar
12 cilantro leaves
1 sprig for garnish
1/4 in. piece of a Fresno chile pepper
2 rings of Fresno chile pepper for garnish
Making it: Muddle tequila, lime juice, agave, cilantro leaves and piece of chile in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously; strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with cilantro sprig and chile rings.
