2 GINGERS NegroniAnyone who has ever tasted Campari knows it’s not an easy liqueur to pair with things — the tartness can be overwhelming. The classic Campari cocktail is the Negroni, made with gin; but an even older version is the Boulevardier — basically, a Negroni made with bourbon instead. But this weekend in the North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park, so we’ve replaced bourbon with good ol’ Irish whiskey. Enjoy!
2 parts 2 Gingers Irish whiskey
1 part Campari
1 part sweet vermouth
Making it: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir; strain over ice into a low-ball glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
