With all 695 precincts reporting in the Democratic Primary for Dallas County judge. Clay Jenkins received 49.82 percent of the vote, meaning he’ll face a runoff against second-place finisher Larry Duncan.
Jenkins, with 23,545 votes, came up just 85 votes short of the number needed to avoid a runoff, according to unofficial results. With 23,630 votes, Jenkins would have had more than 50 percent of the 47,259 total. Duncan received 14,040 votes, or 29.71 percent, while Foster received 9,674, or 20.47 percent.
Although he was unable to avoid a runoff, Jenkins will be the heavy favorite in April. Duncan would need to pick up almost all of Foster’s votes to catch Jenkins. However, turnout likely will be much lower in the runoff, which could change things. In any case, Duncan has an uphill battle ahead of him.skachat-point-blank.ruseo интернет реклама
