In honor of Dolly Parton and her commitment to literacy, CityVet announced today that 11 of its clinics across DFW are hosting a children’s book drive benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children now through Dolly Parton Day on Sept. 25 (9/25).
Through Parton’s Imagination Library, more than 300 million free books have been gifted to children around the world. CityVet saw an opportunity to celebrate that legacy here at home while supporting children and families in the Dallas community.
Participating CityVet clinics include Uptown, Preston Forest, Preston Hollow, Prosper, Frisco, Flower Mound, Oak Lawn, Addison, Old East Dallas, Mansfield and Providence.
The clinics are accepting new children’s books of all sorts from the classics and favorite bedtime stories to brand-new adventures. Community members can simply stop by a participating CityVet location to donate. No veterinary appointment needed.
