The City of Dallas and its partners will host official Pride flag raising ceremony and Resource Fair at Dallas City Hall Plaza on Friday, May 30 at 5 p.m. to kick off Pride month. The city announced music will be provided by DJ Eternos.

The City of Dallas rainbow Pride flag will fly above city buildings throughout the month of June. The rainbow flag with the city seal in the middle is the official city flag during the month of June each year as per a Dallas city ordinance.

City partners will illuminate the downtown skyline with multi-colored lights from May 30 to June 1 in support of Pride month.

Among those officials expected to attend are council members Omar Narvaez,Chad West, Paul Ridley and Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins. State Rep. Jessica Gonzalez has also said she will attend.

Groups that will be represented include the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Fire and Rescue, The Dallas Wings, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Arboretum, Dallas County Health and Human Services among others.

In case of inclement weather the ceremony will be relocated to the Flag Room located at Dallas City Hall 6FN.
