Due to the large number of candidates seeking endorsements from the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas, the LGBT political organization has had to revise the schedule for its endorsement screening meetings.
New screening times are:
• Thursday (tonight), from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., County Criminal Court of Appeals #1, County Criminal Court #8
• Friday, Jan. 15, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., HD 100, HD 105, 203rd Judicial District, County Commissioner #4
• Saturday, Jan. 16, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., County Judge, Constable # 4, Constable #5, County Criminal Court #5.
Officials with the endorsement committee added that there are two candidates for governor, one for lieutenant governor, one for agriculture commissioner and one from land commissioner.
There are a total of 85 candidates scheduled to appear, the most ever.
Endorsement committee members said: “Yes, they are going to be long days, and yes, we are going to be tired. However, this is what we as activist LGBT Democrats must do in order to ensure that we are getting the RIGHT candidates to support our issues, to support our causes and to protect our interests.”
The screenings are being held in the Rainbow Room at Resource Center Dallas, 2701 Reagan. Only Stonewall members whose dues were current as of Dec. 14 can participate in the screening process.pr и рекламачто такое аудит сайта
