The Rev. Neil Cazares-Thomas will be featured in the premiere of the fourth season of United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell on CNN at 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
The interview was filmed at Cathedral of Hope UCC where Cazares-Thomas has served as senior pastor since 2015.
In the preview video, Bell and Cazares-Thomas spoke on the pulpit of the main sanctuary.
“I know megachurch pastors who would never admit they know me,” Cazares-Thomas tells Bell in the preview. He said those same megachurch pastors have told him they wish they had the courage to preach what he preaches. Those pastors are afraid they’ll lose their pulpits, while Cazares-Thomas attributes his success to authenticity.
