Pete Buttigieg, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation and former mayor of South Bend, will be in Texas this weekend to participate in events in both DFW and in San Antonio.
Saturday night, Sept. 19, Buttigieg will be headlining the Texas Democratic Party’s Johnson-Jordan Dinner happening at Embassy Suites DFW Airport North, 2401 Bass Pro Drive in Grapevine. Individual tickets start at $250, with sponsorships up to $100,000 available.
San Antonio on Sunday, Sept. 20, to participate in a rally with Katy Padilla Stout, the Democratic nominee for Texas’ 23rd congressional district, according to press release from Texas Stonewall Democrats.
The rally will be from 5:15-7 p.m. at a venue still to be announced. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP for more information.
