We’re trying to figure out if this was just competitive scheduling or unfortunate coincidence. Before tackling the last night of Razzle Dazzle, you might be considering some brunchy nourishment on Sunday morn to power up. Well, you got two major options right next door to each other at the ilume.

• Over at Axiom Sushi Lounge, Patti Le Plae Safe hosts Sordid Sushi Sunday Drag Brunch. OK, this name kinda scares me a bit, but they are introducing a new brunch menu featuring egg dishes and Vietnamese sandwiches among the items. Publicist Scott Barretto also tells me that they will have Masubi on the menu.

“It’s Hawaiian sushi made with SPAM,” he said. “It is deeee-lish!”

I know Barretto usually has good culinary tastes, so I may take his word on it and go for the challenge. I’m sure it’s going to be better than Miami BBQ.

• The Dazzling Drag Brunch fits a whole lot into its service hours. Krystal Summer and Jenna Skyy are the drag hostesses of the morn with DJ Paul Paredes handling the tunes. I’m trying to figure what a DJ exactly spins for a Sunday brunch.

The event features a three-course menu and drink specials, but also the brunch benefits the Legacy Counseling Center.

4123 Cedar Springs Road. Two seatings: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Reservations recommended. Call 214-522-3474. OpenTable.com.

Tough choice? Don’t fret. Looks like a win-win sitch whichever you choose. Although, would it hurt if either one had the sandwich below on their menu? Please?
