1. Texas Gov. Rick Perry and organizers of his recent day of prayer in Houston, “The Response,” have repeatedly insisted that the event wasn’t politically motivated. But an email sent to the Response’s registration list on Thursday shows that they were completely full of shit. The email, signed by American Family Association founder Don Wildmon, encourages those who attended the Response to help recruit “5 million unregistered conservative Christians to register and vote according to the Biblical worldview in 2012.” And when Wildmon says “vote according to the Biblical worldview,” he means “vote for Perry,” because it’s pretty clear at this point that the Response was little more than a kickoff for Perry’s presidential campaign, which he formally announced only one week later. Need more evidence? According to a poll on the AFA’s website this week, 49 percent of respondents support Perry for the GOP nomination. Michele Bachmann is second with just 17 percent. 2. The White House unveiled new immigration policy Thursday that could prevent some binational same-sex couples from being torn apart. Under the policy, the administration will review all 300,000 pending deportation cases and identify them as high priority or low priority. The criteria will include family relationships, and same-sex couples meet the definition of family.
3. Wisconsin Democrat Russ Feingold announced today that he won’t be a candidate for Senate in 2012, which is good news for those who want lesbian Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin to run.

Thank you for registering for The Response on August 6 in Houston. I hope you were able to attend or participate online as it was certainly a day to remember. I was especially encouraged to see so many youth and young adults in attendance. In addition to the tens of thousands who were in attendance at Reliant Stadium, over 2,000 churches and groups gathered together and joined the event via a live web stream, and hundreds of thousands participated via a live web stream from their homes. The Response was just the beginning of a nationwide initiative to return America to the principles on which she was founded, with God at the center of our nation. All of us in attendance in Houston were moved by the overwhelming call to repentance, prayer and action.
Today, I want to introduce you to Champion the Vote (CTV), a friend of AFA whose mission is to mobilize 5 million unregistered conservative Christians to register and vote according to the Biblical worldview in 2012. Only half of the Christians in the United States are registered to vote. Imagine the impact we could make on the future of America if these Christians made their voices heard in the voting booth!
CTV’s research has shown that it takes only 5 million voters to influence the outcome of an election. This is a do-able goal, and Champion the Vote is seeking Champions – an army of volunteers — to help with the effort. A Champion is simply a Christian talking to other Christians about registering and voting.

Just another attempt for Rick Perry to get the assistance from a belief in which he has not interest or any other attachment. It is another attempt of leading the under educated into his hate filled agenda. It is such a shame that so many unlearned, uneducated people of what they they call faith follow such a demonic person.
Rick Perry is the most transparent politician in history. He wants to be elected. His wife wants him to be elected. Neither has ever done any thing to cause qualification for for this position. It appears that they both want a REAL ESTATE which they cannot afford, for which they do not qualify,and have no reason to inhabit do be for their use at no cost to them. It would be a lovely place for the queen and the whatever he is to live and enjoy the fee expense of living. Yes he knows what he is doing–She does not realize what might be the cost. I say dick them out before the we are forced to pay the price of their stupidity. Surely she knows how to throw a party in a lesser establishment.
