BREAKING: Dallas City Council extends state of disaster

The Dallas City Council has voted to extend the declaration of local state of disaster until Wednesday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m.

The council will re-assess the situation on April 8, and the declaration can be cancelled at any time before that either Mayor Eric Johnson or City Manager T.C. Broadnax.
