Blythe Beck, who is a straight woman but who could easily be a gay man if she set her mind to it, is about to have the week of her life, if we do say so. Tonight, her restaurant, Central 214 inside the Hotel Palomar, hosts Chicken Fried Pride , a benefit for Youth First Texas. Beck will serve her signature deep-fried everything, there will be drinks, entertainment and free valet. All for 20 bucks, which supports YFT.
Then on Thursday, Sept. 17, Beck will be honored along with four other local luminaries as “Five Who Make a Difference.” Co-sponsored by Resource Center Dallas and Modern Luxury magazine, it highlights people in five fields — philanthropy, design, the arts, sports and culinary (that’s Beck) — who contribute to Dallas culture. The cost is $50 and takes place at Marc Events in the Design District.
And finally, Beck’s new reality show, The Naughty Kitchen, premieres on the Oxygen network Tuesday. Check out Dallas Voice this week for my review of the series opener.размещение рекламы в интернетеоптимизация сайта своими силами
