Super woman

Fahari Arts Institute continues to expand in its offerings to the queer community. Tonight they host the participatory lecture #BlackFeminist which examines many queer, black women through feminist movements. The guest speaker is Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs, pictured, who si the founder of the educational program, Eternal Summer of the Black Feminist Mind. The lecture will explore history and politics involved in past movements and how social and new media have advanced today’s endeavors.
