Jeff Olde

Black Tie Dinner will present its annual media award to E! Entertainment’s Jeff Olde, executive vice president for programming and development, for the documentary series I Am Cait, which follows the transition story of Caitlin Jenner.
The award is presented to an individual or industry leader who has demonstrated a solid commitment to bring public and media attention to major LGBT issues and its community. The series was the most watched unscripted series launch of 2015.
“Jeff Olde has brought honest, educational and compelling attention to transgender issues with Caitlyn Jenner and I Am Cait,” Black Tie Dinner Co-chair Mitzi Lemons said.
“Jeff’s role in leading this project from its inception to its reality will have a lasting impact on real lives as well as open the hearts of those who, until now, just could not understand,” Co-chair John Lawrimore said. “It is a privilege for Black Tie Dinner to honor him.”
Under Olde’s leadership, E! is a global pop culture powerhouse which includes other hit franchises Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Total Divas, Botched, House of DVF, Fashion Police, Live From The Red Carpet with Ryan Seacrest and The Soup. He also impacted the scripted landscape with the highly successful launch of the network’s first original scripted series The Royals, starring Elizabeth Hurley.
Black Tie Dinner takes place at the Sheraton Dallas on Nov. 14.
