There’s a small part of us that misses the diabolical characters Alec Baldwin played in the ’90s, but his turnaround as funny guy has been the best part of his career. Even amid the likes of Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan on 30Rock, he’s the funniest of them all as Jack Donaghy. Brinker International Forum brings him in for A Conversation with Alec Baldwin and we’re kinda swooning.

That’s a whole lotta bull
Cowboys, cowgirls and the people who love them are all heading to Cowtown for this year’s A Texas Tradition Rodeo. The Texas Gay Rodeo Association celebrates its 29th year with a grand schedule of competitions, live music by Chris Brade, entertainment by the Austin Baptist Women and Free Ho Lay Sisters, and even a rodeo school for newbies. Giddyup, y’all.

Going green
Whether it’s the Irish cuisine, the Celtic rock, cute dogs dolled up or ginger bears, the North Texas Irish Festival is a must. Hit up the green after work on Friday, but spend the whole day there on the weekend to take it all in.
