The Dallas Bears and the United Court of the Lone Star Empire present the Food, Glorious Food food drive and show at 8 p.m. at The Hidden Door, 5025 Bowser Ave. Proceeds and food items will benefit the Cathedral of Hope Feeding Programs. Any nonperishable food items are appreciated; most-needed items include peanut butter, peanut butter crackers, ravioli microwavable cups, fruit cups, protein/snack bars and Vienna sausage.

Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University, 5900 Bishop Blvd., presents informal drawing instruction with artist Ian O’Brien from 1:30-3 p.m.. This program is for adults and youth ages 12 and older, and is open to all abilities and experience levels. Minors must be accompanied by at least one adult age 18 or older, and all parties need to register. The program is free with regular museum admission, which is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $4 for non-SMU students and free for members and youth under
the age of 18.
