Calling on ghosties, ghoulies and other creatures of the night: It’s Halloween, and in Dallas, that means it is time for the Halloween Block Party on Cedar Springs Road. Official start time is 5 p.m. (that’s when the street is closed down between Oak Lawn and Throckmorton). Admission to the 18-and-up street party is free, but bars will likely have cover charges. Check with your favorite hotspot — on The Strip and elsewhere — to see what Halloween festivities they have planned now through Oct. 31.
