Sept. 18: Texas Entertainer of the Year F.I.
Zorn Universal Entertainment presents the Texas Entertainer of the Year F.I. competition at Southside Preservation Hall, 1519 Lipscomb St. in Fort Worth. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; overture is at 8:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Opulence,” and the competition features a new format this year. Included in the evening will be recognition of Texas Entertainer of the Year F.I. 2025 Deja Dubois and National Entertainer of the Year F.I. 2025 Morgan McMichaels, a 35th Anniversary Celebration honoring Texas Entertainer of the Year F.I. Sept. 19: Oak Lawn Live
The inaugural Oak Lawn Live community music, art and queer joy festival will be open from noon-10 p.m. in the 3900 and 4000 blocks, with headline performer Daya along with The Cowgays, Cure for Paranoia, Cain Culto, backed up by locall stars Kameron Ross, Dezi 5 & The Tailgaters, Drew G., EMSKI, DJ Memoz, Anton Shaw & the Bad Habits, Oak Lawn Band and Women’s Chorus of Dallas.
