June 2: ‘The Way We Were: Dallas LGBTQ+ Nightlife” community archiving
In a collaborative project of Badge of Pride, The Dallas Way, Dallas Social Queer Organization and the Coalition for Aging Collaboration, members of the community are asked to bring their old bar photos from fun times in the LGBTQ+ bars throughout Dallas’ history to have them scanned to become part of the archives of the city and Texas, from 6-8 p.m. at Oak Lawn Place, 5723 Sadler Circle. Sister Helen Holy will emcee the event. All photos will be scanned and the originals returned to the owners that night. The photos shared in this event become part of the living public record and a fall exhibition presented through the Portal to Texas History, at no cost to the owners of the photos.

June 5-7: ‘Phenomenomaly’ at Meow Wolf
Meow Wolf Grapevine, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, presents Phenomenomaly, a live immersive performace center inside The Real Unreal, blending interactive theater with a rotating lineup of North Texas artists unfolding around guests as they move through the venue. Performances from 2-7 p.m. and are included with general admission. Performing June 5-7 is clarinetist Jonathan Jones.

MetroBall 19, the signature annual fundraising dance party for the Greg Doigener Memorial AIDS Fund, will be held at Station 4, 3911 Cedar Springs Road, from 6:30-10 p.m., featuring performances by Cheyenne Jackson, Kameron Ross and Brian Mason. June 6: Dallas Pride Festival of Rainbows and Sunset Parade
Dallas Pride moves from Fair Park to downtown Dallas this year. The Festival of Rainbows begins at 11 a.m. in four parks: the Main Street Festival at Main Street Gardens,the Community Festival at Pacific Plaza, Teen Pride and Family Pride at Harwood Park and the Parade Festival and VIP Experience at Pegasus Plaza. Tickets are $10 in advance, available online at DallasPride.org, and $15 at the gate. The Sunset Pride Parade steps off down Main Street at 7 p.m.
