April 25: ‘Legacy’s Candy Land’
Purple Foundation, NexBank and the Anthony Bobrow Trust present Legacy’s Candy Land,” a fundraiser for Legacy Cares featuring DJ Hector Fonseca with entertainment by Thea Austin, at S4, 3911 Cedar Springs Road. Through April 25: The Stewpot’s Love Your Neighbor Week
The Stewpot, a community ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas that serves the homeless and at-risk populations, invites the Dallas community to serve during Love Your Neighbor Week continuing through April 25. This is a citywide initiative offering more than 650 volunteer opportunities in support of neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty. The week concludes with an All Ages Volunteer Day on April 25 from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m., designed for families to serve together.
