The exhibit features devotional works drawn from the DMA’s Latin American collection, exploring interrelated artistic traditions in the two regions. The exhibition spotlights the complexity and artistic qualities of these objects, which embody the active spiritual relationship between their creators, patrons, and communities. Performing Arts Fort Worth presents Dixie Longate’s Happy Hour as part of its Broadway Specials series. Best known for her multiple appearances in Dixie’s Tupperware Party at Bass Hall, Dixie’s back with an all new streaming show. This time, she’s gone digital to bring you some new stories while mixing up some cocktails. Streams live on March 9-28 on Tuesday-Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 at at BassHall.com

Despite the severe cold a few weeks ago, The Dallas Arboretum is in bloom with Dallas Blooms, the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest. The festival showcases an explosion of color from more than 500,000 spring-blooming blossoms and hundreds of other incredible florals. Each week, the theme “America the Beautiful” focuses on one of the six regions in the United States with food, music, flowers and special events.
