Queer, Austin-based singer, songwriter Caleb De Casper has announced the official release date for his forthcoming album, Delirium. The new record will drop Feb. 12. Ahead of the release, he premiered the video for his latest single on Thursday evening for “People Don’t Fall.”
The album is described as a queer coming-of-age story with a vampire bent. A bit pop mixed with underground cult vibes drawing on influences such as Pete Burns, Lady Gaga, Peaches and others.
“I had gotten to a point in my life where I just felt very vampiric,” De Casper the singer said in a press release. “This hedonism everyone absorbs themselves in just didn’t hit the same for me. The food and the wine, the lust and the dopamine chasing of modern day life had brought me to some dark places and my soul wanted more.”
