Members of the Out & Equal DFW Regional Affiliate joined members of Youth First Texas and their families Saturday, Oct. 20 at Reverchon Park for a picnic offering LGBT and questioning youth opportunities to interact with LGBT professionals. Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez and Chris Heinbaugh, chief of staff for Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert who shared their experiences as high-profile, “out” personalities.
