Adult film fans will likely be familiar with the name Chris Steele. Heck, even Dallas peeps (OK, the gay ones) in general might know the name. Well, the MacArthur High School grad has done good. The former XXX film star, now executive producer of Jet Set Men, was given Hall of Fame status at last week’s 2011 Trendy Awards.

The Second Annual Trendy Awards were held last week and lived up to hype with delivering one amazing night for the gay adult industry for its performers, fans and media. This incredible night was hosted by Scotty B and Rhea Litre. The night officially came to one incredible climax when the recipient of the 2011 Trendy Awards- Hall of Fame Inductee was announced.
Jet Set Men’s Sr. Director of Casting and Marketing Rob Romoni took to the stage for the honors of announcing this year’s Hall of Fame Award winner. “This years recipient of this Hall of Fame Award is a vanguard in the gay industry and one of the most successful, creative and innovative people the gay adult industry has ever seen” expressed Romoni as he held the award and just seconds before he announced that the winner was Gay Porn Industry Legend Chris Steele.
Chris Steele’s career has been nothing short of extraordinary with beginning his career in the gay adult industry in1998 and quickly becoming one of the most sought after models. Steele has gone from being an exclusive model for Studio 2000 in 2000 and picking up several nominations and awards for his mind blowing scenes to traveling the entire country making appearances at the biggest named clubs with sold out crowds. Steele’s early days in the industry was no doubt foreshadowing that one day he would be named one of the most iconic directors in the gay adult industry.
Steele’s body of work as a director personifies the tenacity, vision, inclination and drive that have been credited with launching an endless list of gay porn superstars which has cultivated a library of blockbuster movies like “Getting Levi’s Johnson” and “Jersey Score” that have been successful all over the world.
