This year, Plano-based Perot Systems began offering partnership benefits and shed its 0 percent rating with Human Rights Campaign. In September, Dell Computers announced a takeover of Perot Systems. Those same employees will now work for a company with a 100 percent rating. Cinemark, which became the center of controversy after its CEO made a large donation to the campaign to pass Proposition 8 in California, is not ranked because they did not return a questionnaire. Of the 20 companies based in North Texas ranked by HRC, eight received 100 percent. ExxonMobil remains one of only two companies nationally with a zero rating.
