The Dallas Theater Center announced its 2008-09 season tonight — the first under the leadership of new artistic director Kevin Moriarty. The plays, in order, will be as follows:
“The Who’s Tommy,” previously produced in Dallas by Uptown Players; Moriarty will personally direct it;
“The Good Negro,” a new play about the civil rights movement;
“A Christmas Carol,” the staple of the season, directed by Joel Ferrell;
“In the Beginning,” a collection of 15th century mystery plays, also directed by Moriarty and featuring the debut of the new company of local actors who will do at least two shows every year with DTC (more about that later);
“Back Back Back,” about baseball;
and finally an as-yet-unnamed family musical, based on a Newberry Award-winning children’s book.
We’ll have more details about the season later in the week. netframework.ruпосмотреть рейтинг сайта
