Stephen Petronio makes Dallas debut
The Stephen Petronio Company has been a force in dance for more than a quarter of a century, but it took until now to get them to Dallas. The gay-run troupe, which specializes in dizzyingly fast movement and overtly sexual artistry, arrives in the Downtown Dallas Arts District for a one-night-only recital, including a piece not done in the U.S. for a decade until this year, and a piece that had its world premiere
in 2011.

DEETS:
Winspear Opera House

GayBingo holds final game of 2012
Dec. 21 is just around the corner. Why should you care? You shouldn’t … unless you’re a Mayan, and then you might believe the whole world is coming to an end that day, just like their calendar will. And so, for the final fundraising GayBingo of the year — and perhaps all time — the theme is Armageddon. Come as your favorite avatar of the end of the world — a mushroom cloud, a zombie, a HAZMAT suit, even a Karl Rove presidency … wait, this just got too real.

DEETS:
The Rose Room at Station 4
3911 Cedar Springs Road.
Nov. 17. 5–8 p.m. $25.
